As an educator and entrepreneur Steve has completed projects, participated at events and managed partnerships in more than ten countries; making him easily at home in multi-cultural surroundings. As a communications professional, he brings a lifetime of cross-cultural experience to assist clients anywhere on the globe.
A traditional American father of five who never lost his Midwestern accent, Steve has a family heritage of talented southern cooks. He also has an Indiana jump-shot, drives a used 4x4 and prefers Chicago pizza over thin stuff with no sauce. His favorite take-out food however, happens to be Caribbean. And though he grew up an hour from Wrigley Field and attended college near the Poconos, he regularly listens to Latin Jazz, prefers Italian Serie A soccer and is sometimes accused of being more Brazilian than his wife; who IS Brazilian. Steve speaks Portuguese and Spanish nearly every day.

Steven Rainwater writes daily for business and media in American English. He can pen the Queen's English when pressed and hopes someday to learn Australian. In addition to copywriting and journalistic freelancing, he now relies on a trusted network of language and technology professionals to facilitate translated, localized content FROM any language, TO any language; easily and affordably.

Getting Started
It's easy to work with Treeside Communications. During an initial meeting and usually at no cost, Steve or one of his industry partners will discuss the details of your project. As a follow-up, a written quotation of project scope and financial investment is provided. When a client is ready to begin, a letter of cooperation is signed. Then the agreed upon work is completed and delivered...on schedule.
For projects exceeding $1000.00 in total cost, 30% is due at start-up. All projects must be paid in full at completion.
Connected to the world from Central Florida, daily activities are performed virtually via phone, e-mail, fax and video conference. Steve knows the way to the airport when a project requires, but prefers the highway when possible for a leisurely trip...and less political incompetence.
